(as posted in Flipkey) Great place, people, food, and beaches This is the second time we have stayed at the Bird's nest. It is a comfortable place for a couple or small family (depending on the apartment), has great views of the hills and the Caribbean, and it is strategically located near beaches, restaurants, and other points of interest. The apartment is clean and comfortable and Waldo and Ileana are wonderful hosts. Both of them know so much about Vieques and are willing to share. Waldo and Ilyana were welcomming and very helpful.Their cottage became our 'home away from home'.The whole experience of Vieques was a delightful surprise and I have recommended to to many people! We were able to cook meals in the kitchen and the location was great for getting to all of the beaches. We would stay again and hope to bring our kids next time.
