This was our second visit to Vieques, and first to the Birdnest Studios. We spend four days in El Pitirre and four days in La Gaviota. Both are clean, comfortable and fully equipped. We cooked as many meals in as we ate out, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Everything you need for the beach is there to use. Thank you Waldo and Ileana for your gracious and accommodating hospitality. We'll be back!

hank you so much for such a wonderful Thanksgiving week holiday. Marty and I had a wonderful, and much needed, vacation. Your place is so comfortable and quiet, and....well, just perfect. We are definitely coming back for the while week next year...I will write to you when we get a little further into the New Year. We both LooooVe Vieques! We have been twice in the last 1 year :) And thanks to Waldo's warm hospitality, friendship and humor...we had a great trip. We loved staying at Birdnest ! Highly Recommend it :) Don't miss Waldo's exquisite cooking, I regret not having it our first trip ! I might come, this winter again !

Hace cuatro o cinco años estuvimos mi mujer y yo 15 días en el birdnest de Waldo e Ileana. Desde entonces se convirtieron en amigos queridos, que nos hicieron pasar unas vacaciones muy especiales, confraternizamos la cultura caribeña con la española, y pusimos en relación el vino español y el gazpacho con el cubalibre y la famosa "paella viequense"(inolvidable), donde conocimos lo que es una playa de verdad, (y atención que les estamos escribiendo desde España), y donde esperamos volver ahora con nuestros hijos cuando estos sean un poco más mayores. Cuiden mucho la isla y cuiden la casa de Waldo e Ileana como ellos les cuidan a ustedes. Gracias amigos.
