Waldo thanks for your hospitality. The Pitirre studio is very cozy and comfortable. We have a great time, the location was great, very accesible to the beach and town and there's no doubt that we will be back pretty soon!

We stayed at the studio for our honeymoon. We were married on 08/08/08. Our wedding planner Sandy recommended it and it didn't dissapoint. It was so relaxing and homey! We share our wedding cake with Waldo and Ileana after being married at Sunbay. It was a relaxing space perfect after staying on the big island for 5 days. Close to the most beautiful beaches on Vieques. We can't wait to return to Vieques and stay at the birdnest studio.

This is such a perfect place to stay. Fantastic accomodations and great location on the island. Waldo gives wonderful advice about the beaches on the island and other helpful information. The beds are comfortable, you can cook for yourself when you want to stay in, and you have a great view of the water. The Birdnest and Vieques were truly one of our best vacations ever!

This is such a great place to stay if you want an authentic experience and avoid the resorts. Good location in the middle of the island, plenty of privacy when you need it (balanced with TONS of helpful advice and pleasant conversation with Waldo and Ileana) and a good value for the price. We stayed in the Gaviota and it was HUGE for 2 people - like a little appartment with everything we needed. We cooked 1/2 our meals there and ate out in Esperanza the rest of the time, it was perfect.

Home away from home on beautiful Vieques...The Birds Nest is a wonderful, quiet, peaceful place nestled on a hill. The name is so appropriate. Artfully decorated, airy, fully equipped,with a beautiful view and equally beautiful and knowledgeable owners .Ileana and Waldo are world travelers who know what a place needs to relax in. They are warm,welcoming and one of the most knowledgeable and helpful couples I have met. They love this island and their care for their guests and studio reflects that. It is a laid back atmosphere where my family- husband, 13 year old and 3 year old - feel completely at home. It is conveniently located close to town ,a short drive to the incredible beaches. I have stayed @ the nest numerous times and have a hard time leaving it! Whenever I get to go to Vieques the first thing I do is email Waldo and hope the dates are available! This is a very special place...
